Treasure Island Wines® aare hand crafted in small lots using grapes sourced from well established viticulture regions in California. TIW’s relationships with these vineyards allows TIW the flexibility to produce a core set of popular varietals in addition to creating wines, and wine blends, from extraordinary “finds” that will amaze and tantalize everyone from the wine enthusiast to the learned sommelier. Here are current releases:
- 2019 and 2020 SAUVIGNON BLANC, PINE MOUNTAIN $20.00
- TIW’s Sauvignon Blanc comes from Pine Mountain Vineyards, high on the western slope of the Mayacamas range on the border of Sonoma and Mendocino County. Situated at an altitude of 2500ft, the vineyard has rather cool nights and mornings which slows ripening and thus we harvest later than most Sauvignon Blancs. Done in old world style, this is an elegant yet sophisticated dry white wine that sparkles with a lively acidity. It gracefully exhibits citrus, kiwi and tropical fruit with an orange blossom nose and finishes delightfully clean and crisp. BUY NOW
- 2017 – 2018 CHARDONNAY, RUSSIAN RIVER VALLEY $24.00
- TIW’s chardonnays comes from a Russian River Valley vineyard with warm days and cool evening and nights. Crafted in the style of a French Pouilly-Fuissé (Mâconnais), it is crisp with green apple, lemon and pear fruit notes with a mineral finish. This medium-bodied wine is rich and opulent with flavors and texture. Our aim is for clarity and freshness over oaky flavors and this wine shows a touch of vanilla from aging partially in barrel.
